Loughbrow house offers a range of facilities to make our visitors
feel at home. Guests have access to the large comfortable drawing
room, and there is also a smaller sitting room available for two
to four people.
Our nine
acres of gardens, which are opened to the public in support of charity,
have terraced water features, a rose garden and herbaceous borders.
We have an extensive kitchen garden where our vegetables, fruit
and flowers are grown.
There are five
guest bedrooms, all simply but comfortably furnished, with the following
facilities: (click on a link to see room photographs).
Room
1: Double room with a large en-suite bathroom. This room
has a private dressing room, which could also serve as an extra
bedroom suitable for a child. Television included.
Room 2: Double room with
en-suite and television. Both these rooms are at the front of the
house.
Room 3: Double room with en-suite and television. Room overlooks
our gardens.
Room 4: Twin room with
television and private bathroom.
Room 5: Single room.
Room 6: Single room.
These two rooms are at the back of the house and have lovely views
over the garden. They all have a washbasin and share a separate
bathroom.
We provide a
full English breakfast, where guests will be able to enjoy our home-baked bread. Our
marmalades and preserves are available for purchase on departure. If you are travelling as a party of 4
or more, you must eat at least one evening meal with your host,
who is a cordon-bleu cook. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements
can be accommodated with prior notice. Should you decide to dine
here you will be served a 3-course dinner by candlelight with a
bottle of wine.
